1. Photographic Style
Having photographic style is a really nice touch to wedding photography. Figure out what there style is to determine if you like that or not.
Your budget is the main focus which would determine on how good your photographer is and the quality of pictures he puts out. You should put no more than 15% of your wedding expense to a wedding photographer.
What products do they offer? Do they give you only a certain amount of pictures or just a digital copy. Do they print them for you? These are some questions your want to ask your self when choosing a photographer.
4. Book ASAP
When you have found the right wedding photographer plan ahead and book it. You don’t want to be too late so book as soon as you can. Most importantly choose a photographer whose work you LOVE.
When it comes to taking professional quality wedding images the lens is much more important than the camera body itself. You should consider getting a semi-professional camera such as the Nikon D300, if you do not plan to hire a professional, however utilizing a professional is always the preferred method. The same way you would want

For a wedding, photography lenses are recommended covering a focal length from 24-200 mm. 24 mm is wide enough to provide expansive views of the ceremony and reception, and 200 mm has enough
reach to get a nice close-up of the bride or groom from the end of the aisle.

The wide-angle length typically covers focal lengths between 10-24 mm. This lens is critical when it comes to wedding photography. They are wide enough to show the entire view of the ceremony location; wide-angle lenses also make it possible to photograph in confined spaces, such as the bride’s dressing room or a packed dance floor. The full perspective creates a sense of expansiveness and grandeur by showing the entire ceremony or reception location. Wide angle lenses on a full frame body provide the best results. If you have a cropped sensor keep in mind that a 10-20 mm lens will give a similar view to a 24 mm on a full frame body.
The wide-to-telephoto lens such as the 24-70mm or 17-55mm is considered the most important lens for wedding
photography. They are wide enough to take a group photographs, and also three-quarter length portraits, if you had to choose just one lens to shoot an entire wedding, this would provide you with the best coverage.
There are many advantages in carrying a professional camera body. Some of the main benefits are high ISO capabilities which will give you a higher shutter speed in low light situations, and some full frame camera features with incredibly high megapixels such as the Nikon D3x, which is great if you get a lot of orders for large wedding prints. For wedding photography, Nikon D3x is more beneficial, this capability means that you will be able to capture every moment in any lighting situation without fail,, without having to work with flash constantly. Carrying a professional body for wedding photography also means higher shutter speeds, enhanced color replication, quicker menu access using dials instead of buttons, and of course the benefits of a full frame sensor. Other advantages include the wider range of view, reduced image noise, and reduced lens distortion.
Over the years, I have learned to have a love/hate relationship with search engines. Having done photography for over 15 years, maintaining a website just as long, I have learned a few tricks to share with other wedding photographers about how to properly optimize their site for seo services their marketing company may be providing. We tend to skimp out on the content part itself. Here are a few tricks to better optimize your images (and website) for the search engines:
1) When you add your image, make sure your “img alt” tag is filled in. Google can’t tell what your image is because Google can’t see images! So this alt tag will tell Google what your image is about. So if your image is about a wedding you photographed in Boise, Idaho, you may want to make the alt tag: “wedding photography boise idaho”
2) Make sure your URLs are not extremely long! I see a lot of wedding photography sites making this mistake.
3) Make sure you are adding SOME content. All image sites are harder for Google to read, figure out, and want to rank. If you want the feel of an “all-image” site, then make a pinterest page!
